You can print anything, text, logo, QR code, DM code, barcode, serial number, date, etc.
But be careful, the stainless steel must be clean... degreased... If the print is on grease, it will be exactly on it... When you wipe off the grease, wipe the print with it...

If you print directly on the stainless steel, you only take the print off with solvent.
